A case of few words with the Griffin Elan Passport for iPad

Just like Alf I am back, sadly not in pog form but back anyway.

So right now all the buzz is about the iPad and all the wonderful things it can do. I’ve had mine for a month and I must say it is fantastic as a light business machine, life is much easier not having to lug a laptop around. As with iPhones and iPods there have been a billion cases of all shapes and sizes announced but very few have shipped. I have seen many sleeve style cases (I was not short of cases on launch) but this is the first folio style case that I have in my hands. Lets see what it is all about.

I’m back!

Back on the reviews again! Juggling my daily responsibilities is fun, the downside is that the reviews slowed down a bit. I have however rejigged my working schedule a bit to give me more time to write (which I immensely enjoy doing).

A quick update on some site developments:

- I finally hopped on the Twitter wagon (twitter.com/tryandbyte) after resisting for a while. So if you have questions or comments feel free to ask me here. From there you can also keep track of our latest releases and developments.

- Games and apps are something that we don’t cover much here but I will be covering those on another site, once that is up and running you’ll all be the first to know.

Onwards to todays review.

This is a Setup! A Review of the Twelve South BookArc

Note: I am making a couple of changes to this website, so it if the site seems to look different each time you come back don't be alarmed. I have also realised that I have not updated in a while but I am back after the post CES rush (which turned out to be a lot more hectic than I expected). So regular programming will resume.

For 2010 I want to make Try and Write more of a news + reviews site rather than an outright reviews site that it is at the moment, because of this I have had to see if I could seamlessly shoehorn a news section onto the site or see if it needs a design overhaul. All in all.. Im working on it!

Back to the review!

On Mactalk (an Aussie Mac users forum I frequent) they have this fantastic thread called "Post your setup" where you post pictures of your Mac working environment. Besides the fascination of looking at other peoples desks the one thing that struck me was how clean some desks were. My desk has always been a controlled mess (categorised piles of papers, magazines etc). This actually got worse when I had to replace my iMac with a laptop / display combo for work.
